  • Please note: Our Premium URL service is currently in phase one of its development and as such there are some limitations of which you should be aware.
  • To protect the performance of our databases and servers during onboarding of phase one customers the following limitations apply:
  • There is currently no automatic checking of existing short URLs when placing an order.
    Before ordering you are advised to manually check the availability of your required URL.
    To do this, open a new tab in your browser and enter the required URL into the address bar. (Example = por.nz/your_keyword_here).
    If you’re redirected to the free service homepage (https://por.nz) then the URL is not in our database and you’re free to place your order.
    If you’re redirected to another webpage then the keyword is taken.
    If you place an order with an existing keyword your order will be rejected.
  • Premium URLs are currently limited to one per order.
    You may order additional URLs by placing separate orders.
  • Premium URL orders will be checked by an administrator before acceptance.
    We will check the keyword is available, does not contain restricted terms and the full original URL is operational and does not violate our terms and conditions.
    When the checks are complete your URL will go live and you will be informed.
    This process may take upto 14 days but in most cases will be much quicker.
    Your subscription period will not commence until checks are complete.
    You will not be charged until checks are complete.
  • Premium URLs will not be editable or transferable during phase one.
  • You may choose from either monthly, yearly, or 2 yearly subscriptions.
    Please ensure you have selected the correct subscription for your needs as subscription terms are not currently transferable after your order is accepted.
  • We will streamline the ordering process and remove these limitations as the Premium service grows.
  • In addition to these temporary limitations the following applies to all orders:
  • Premium URLs may be cancelled by the user at any time, however, no refunds will be given in full or part for any unused subscription period.
  • Premium URLs must comply with our terms and conditions and may be cancelled if in violation.
  • To complete your custom order please provide the following information:
  • In the ‘Short URL Keyword’ box, enter the word, term or characters for your URL.
    Keywords can be made from standard letters, numbers and hyphens only.
    No spaces or special characters.
    For example, if you required the URL por.nz/myname, your would enter myname.
  • In the ‘Original URL’ box, enter the FULL URL you require your short URL to redirect to.
    Please include the protocol of the URL (http:// or https://).
    If no protocol is entered we will assume https://.
